"A Summer's Day Outing With Friends"
Homemade cake, scones, strawberries and cream, ice cream and a glass of non-alcoholic bubbles made for a very happy morning made extra special by having Toddington MusicMakers there to accompany our singing.
The Euros, T20 cricket, Wimbledon and the Tour de France.
An energetic morning but we were well fuelled with delicious cake, biscuits, tea and coffee not to mention the juicy home grown raspberries!
Our songs today were sunshine and holiday themed.
We also made our own music in celebration of "Making Music Day" tomorrow
Thank you to all our wonderful carers; our unsung heroes!

Remember, remember the 5th of November
Our fireworks were fibreoptic wands which displayed all the beautiful colours of real fireworks without the noisy bangs and danger of setting fire to ourselves!
Visit from Dunstable Dunelm
We were delighted to welcome Kirsty and Amy from Dunelm's "Delivering Joy Campaign". They came to see what we get up to each Thursday morning!
We are very lucky to have been chosen this year to receive Christmas gifts from their campaign.
World Animal Day Celebration
We had a lovely time celebrating World Animal Day (October 4th) at our meeting on October 5th. We were visited by cuddly elephants, an orang-utan, a rather tired zebra, and many more birds and beasts. Can you spot them in the photos? There were rousing renditions of Nellie the Elephant, The Hippopotamus Song as well as How Much Is That Doggie in the Window and we beat our drums to Wimoweh (The Lion Sleeps Tonight).
Summer Party August 2023
We enjoyed a day trip to the seaside where we planned what to do with "the drunken sailor", ate "cockles and mussels", rode on a "bicycle built for two", "strolled along the prom, prom, prom", enjoyed "just one cornetto", dodged the showers whilst "singing in the rain" and finally could someone "show me the way to go home"; all in the fine company of Toddington MusicMakers. We were treated to wonderful cakes and refreshments along the way. Thank you to everyone who helped to give us such a happy morning.
Great day and the Sun is Shining!
Our new giant scrunchie linking us all together in song
